Parent's Advocacy Guide to Special Education
Do you or someone you know need a "Guide" through Special Education policies and procedures? Do you want tips, forms, and checklists to advise you about difficult situations and keep you organized? The WV Developmental Disabilities Council and the WV Advocates are working to develop a user friendly manual to assist families in navigating Policy 2419 and advocating for needed supports and services.
Send an email to Jim.H.Cremeans@wv.gov with your name, email, and address to request a free copy. The "Guide" is expected to be complete and ready for distribution this summer. Check back for updates!
